Finally, something UK & UofL fan can agree upon…….a distaste for Duke.
Treveor, for the Louisville Cardinal wrote an article stating that UofL has filed suit against Duke university over a breach of contract, demanding $450,000 in damages.
The suit is over an agreement to play 4 football games, each team having 2 at home. One of the games was played in ’02, and Duke canceled the others. The teams were meant to meet in ’07-’09, but due to the wrongful cancelation of the contract (along with another possible breach by Vanderbilt), UofL has been forced to fill the spot with Murray State and University of Utah (not exactly opponents to draw in the masses)
