Our neighbors to the south, Tennessee indie-rockers, The Features, are playing Forecastle X on Saturday. Last year, The Features played with Wax Fang (who are playing Forecastle on Friday!) a year ago, April 15 2011, at Zanzabar and, boy did they do some work. Correct me on these adjectives, but you know, this is just, like, my opinion, man – The Features are this kinda Southern pop, that has that bluesy, gospel-ish thing going on that’s really a big deal ’round these parts right about now. See The Features on Saturday, along with a big honkin’ list of other bands that are gonna make you ridiculously happy to be in Louisville.
