Dan Deacon will be providing Cincy with a free live performance at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincy on March 3rd. It is an gallery opening party, so it may not get as sweaty as some of this other shows (see Backseat at a Dan Deacon show in Chicago below). The Center will be celebrating two new exhibits, but I’m celebrating Dan Deacon. The set is only listed to last an hour, so it may not be worth the drive, but who knows. 21c… Your turn.
Join us for the celebration of two new exhibitions:
Spectacle: The Music Video
Dasha Shishkin: I surrender, dear

Spectacle: The Music Video
This groundbreaking exhibition, curated by Jonathan Wells and Meg Grey Wells of Flux, explores music video as an important and influential art form in contemporary culture.
Dasha Shishkin: I surrender, dear
Dasha Shishkin creates fantasy worlds where absurd creatures and mischievous human figures populate lush, psychedelic environments. This exhibition marks the Russian artist’s first solo Museum show.
