I had the chance to see The Black Belles at their first ever live performance at Third Man Records on Halloween of 2010 and was blown away. Since then they have released a solid full length album, and a personal favourite 7″ with one Stephen Colbert. Things have been bright and shining for the women in black so far, and now you have a chance to see them. Along with The Black Belles will be the fine ladies of Bleached, so this show is like a Paul Giamatti film – a Win Win. But unlike that film this show will be very enjoyable and entertaining. The show will take place at Cosmic Charlies in Lexington. It’s on a Monday night but it will be worth you dragging to work on Tuesday morning. Info and important links below. See you there!
