We were pleasantly surprised when we went to our mailbox today and found the 9th issue of the Goodwill Zine. Goodwill Zine is a nonprofit youth arts publication based here in Louisville. They have released issues quarterly since June 2009 with paper issues in local shops and an audio edition for the summer. We love the concept and it is another example a great outlet for artists in Louisville. It includes a full range of content, from storytelling and spoken word to “audio drama and noise.” You can pick up hand stenciled CDs and tapes at ear X-tacy, Derby City Espresso and Hey Tiger for $3, or listen online free HERE. (It even includes an appearance from our good friend and Backseat contributor, Matthew Landan!)
