Way back in the summer of 2006 at Lollapalooza, we were waiting at the main stage to see Queens of the Stone Age and accidently saw hasidic rapper Matisyahu.
Accidently put on one amazing show, that is.
At the time, he was promoting his debut album, Youth, and was a fairly new face. Matisyahu well established himself as a great performer right off, with his emotion-laden lyrics and his energy, which he displayed by running around ON TOP OF THE CROWD.
You’ll have your chance to see him a few times this coming Thursday, as he will be performing at Headliners with electronic duo Sub Swara. You can purchase advance tickets, which are $25, here at eTix. Also, Matisyahu will appear at ear x-tacy to play a set and meet and greet fans before the main gig. Check the details below:
