Halfway to Forecastle Preview: RJD2

Since 2002, DJ, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist RJD2 has gained notoriety and worldwide acclaim as a genre chameleon. His musical career has spanned across pop, hip-hop, electronic, and more. His debut album, Dead Ringer, is considered one of the best and most influential underground hip-hop releases of the era. He has since gone onto release numerous records in multiple genres, producing a complex mix of sound that is atmospheric yet danceable.

We caught RJD2 at Headliner’s last year and were blown away.  Picture Girl Talk meets actually spinning vinyl.
