I’ve got a fever, and the only cure is more Bieber… Former Twitter trending topic and German sensation Justin Bieber will be performing the second ever show at the new KFC Yum! Bucket Double-Down Grilled Spicy Wings, Snackers, and Twisters Center on November 10 according to BizJournals. Bizjournals.com knows whats up.
You may know Justin Bieber if you have ever seen the internet or been in a grocery store check-out line, so he needs no introduction. Ticket price ranges are a reported $36, $46, and $56, but do not worry yourself with that as I will be purchasing every single ticket as a birthday present to myself since this concert-of-the-year is only a few weeks before it. Why the heck not? Money if superfluous in this economy. Money actually does grow on trees, and I found these money trees on Google World 2.0 one day and it’s worth the day trip to go see them. If I don’t manage to get every single ticket (like that’s going to happen), then I think you can purchase tickets on his website, but I’m not putting a link to that here. If you are a loyal reader of Backseat Sandbar (which includes at least tens of people) and you want to purchase tickets, then I will scold you verbally on the internetz and redirect you to the video below. More info on the show below, and make sure to listen to the free MP3!

Justin Bieber – Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby…

So the KFC Yum! Center will officially die right after it’s opened when this mass-produced faux R&B/Soul vocalist takes the stage. When will people again start liking musicians and bands that actually make music and not vocal merchandise? Why can’t we get a truly good group or singer in there like The Rolling Stones, Motorhead, Marilyn Manson or Sir Paul McCartney? Hell, I had fun at a Toby Keith concert when I went to one in Freedom Hall, I’d like to see him in the new arena. I’d even like to see Michael Buble in there, even though I can’t say I’m a big fan of his stuff. Anything or anyone would be tons better than Justin Bieber. When this young generation captivated by Justin Bieber looks back at this period of time 30, 20, 10 or even as little as 5 years from now, their hindsight will (hopefully) allow them to realize that Justin Bieber is mediocre, and that they should have probably found a better recording artist that actually cares about music and not making money by singing pre-written crappy stanzas of words through a microphone that is likely put through a computer so that it sounds even better.

Once Justin Bieber starts doing drugs then I’ll buy a ticket. But for now, Toby Keith would be awesome. He’s as if Justin Vernon of Bon Iver got happy and made all his flannel shirts sleeveless. And I’m pretty sure The Rolling Stones w/Motorhead/Marilyn Manson/Sir Paul McCartney is in the works for Production Simple. I’m just waiting to see it on my Ticketweb email any day now.
