Early bird tickets are available for $135 (regularly $150) for the Forecastle Festival which is going to be July 9-11 this year. Headliners aren’t going to be revealed until Wednesday, March 31st on 1pm. The festival is giving people the opportunity to win two weekend VIP passes in their “Guess the Headliners” contest. There are going to be clues available on the Treasure Map, where you can login to make your guesses for a $300 value. While more clues will be added, the first 8 clues are listed below.
From now until the March 31st announcement, specially discounted three-day passes are available for $135.00 via Ticketmaster (password “MUSIC”). Single-day passes are going to be full price at $60.
The 9th annual Forecastle Festival will take place July 9th – 11th in downtown Louisville, KY, and combine over (75) bands and electronic artists, regional art installations, the Sustainable Living Roadshow, outdoor extreme sports park, panels, speakers, films, and more.
The clues for the first 8 headliners are listed below:
1. Latitude – 5 degrees by 15’00″ Longitude 20 degrees by 15’00″
2. Past her tongue she whispered of the glowing horizon in front of them
3. JK relinquished for the night and watched his favorite NBA team
4. Loose lips sink ships unless the ship is zero
5. This is a story you may not believe but I’ll tell it to you if you pull up your sleeve
6. The Captain’s ship cracked the laws physics as it thrust through the water
7. The sailors dropped their lines and caught the sweet ambrosia of the seas
8. Chaos filled the entire ship as the peaches fell over into the sea
