Julian Koster is a member of the Music Tapes and another little band you may have heard of called Neutral Milk Hotel. What’s more, the man just loves Christmas and his singing saw does too. We came across this news late, and for that we’re sorry. It seems Julian was in Louisville this past Sunday (12/6). Similar to last year’s caroling tour through fans’ homes Julian came to town playing the tunes of last year’s Merge release The Singing Saw at Christmastime. It may worthwhile to Email Him to ask for a little advance notice next time. We were fortunate enough to catch Julian last year on the Elephant 6 Holiday Surprise Tour, but sadly we just didn’t know about this show until it was too late…we hope you made it as it’s a rare occasion.
